How cases and evidence are judged

What Agent Cases includes, what its four levels of evidence mean, and how cases are collected and corrected.

Four levels of evidence

Verified
A third party checked the revenue: a read-only Stripe link on TrustMRR or AgentMRR, or a sale price reported by reliable press.
Screenshot
The maker showed a dashboard: Stripe, App Store Connect or the like. Screenshots can be faked, but they are more than a bare claim.
Self-reported
A number the maker gave in a post, video or interview, with no proof shown.
Estimate
A data firm or analyst estimated it: Sensor Tower, AppMagic and the like.

Three kinds of case

Run by agents
Businesses whose daily work an agent does: finding content, improving the site, sending email, following up customers.
Built with agents
Products built mainly with coding agents: apps, sites and games written with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the like.
Selling agent work
Selling agent work: setting agents up for businesses, selling templates and skills, doing client work with agents.

What gets in

  1. A named person or company, and at least one source we could open that supports the revenue number.
  2. Numbers are recorded as the source states them, with who said them.
  3. Agents did real work in it: running it, building it, or as what is sold.
  4. Left out: courses on getting rich with AI with no business behind them, pyramid schemes, token schemes, gambling, adult content, anonymous claims and anything that looks like a scam.
  5. Every case ends with a judgement: could a team of one to three copy it, and what is the hard part?

How cases are collected

Agents gather candidates from public pages, social media and podcasts and draft them; a person checks the sources and approves each one before it is published. If our own products earn money, they go in under the same rules.

Screenshots and videos

The pictures on the cards are screenshots of a product's public home page, or the screenshots its developer put on the App Store, there only so readers can tell which product it is; each says where and when it was taken. Videos link to where they were published and are never copied here. If you make one of these products and want its picture taken down, write to [email protected] and we will do it promptly.

Corrections and submissions

If a number is wrong, a source is gone, or you know a case, write to [email protected] with the source. Nothing here is investment or business advice.
